Todd has been involved in research in microbiology and pathology since 1997.  His exceptional work has been recognized throughout his educational research career.  His Masters Degree is in Experimental Pathology where he conducted research on the HIV accessory protein VPR.  He presented research findings at the Department of Energy’s Natural and Accelerated Bioremediation Research Program Conference. After receiving his Bachelors Degree, Todd worked as a Toxicologist in Spokane, Washington at Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories.  After earning his Masters, Todd worked at Myriad Genetics, Inc. in Salt Lake City.  While there he was involved in the patent pending discovery of a novel hereditary mutation found in persons of the Spanish descent.  He gained experience in automation of DNA extraction and sequencing, including the required computer programming.  His responsibilities ranged from verifying biochemical accuracy to database compatibility to composing standard operating procedures.
